Cal Poly Pomona left no doubt Saturday. The Lady Broncos rolled past UC Merced, 76–35, at Kellogg Arena—controlling the game from the opening quarter to improve to 22–2 overall and 17–1 in CCAA play, still two games clear atop the standings. More importantly, CPP has officially clinched a spot in next month’s CCAA Women’s Basketball Tournament, which the Broncos will host at Kellogg Arena in Pomona.
